Plastic Processing

Injection Molding
Injection Molding
Injection molding is a widely used manufacturing process for producing plastic parts. In this process, plastic material in the form of pellets or granules is first heated in a machine's barrel until it melts. The molten plastic is then injected into a precisely shaped mold under high pressure. Once injected, the plastic cools and solidifies inside the mold, taking the shape of the cavity. After cooling, the mold is opened, and the newly formed part is ejected. The process can be repeated rapidly, making injection molding ideal for high-volume production of intricate, high-precision parts.

Blow Molding
Blow Molding
Blow molding is a manufacturing process used to create hollow plastic parts. The process starts with a heated plastic tube called a parison, which is extruded or injection-molded. The parison is then placed in a mold, and air is blown into it to expand the plastic, forming it to the shape of the mold cavity. After the plastic cools and solidifies, the mold is opened, and the hollow part is ejected. Blow molding is typically used to produce containers and parts that need to be hollow, such as bottles and tanks. There are various types of blow molding, including extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, and stretch blow molding, each with its specific applications.
